Nanaimo Homeschooling Events & Gatherings

NCHL's Events

NCHL is an active homeschool group that gets together in varying combinations regularly. Our members gather for skating, swimming, skiing, field trips, educational adventures, and fun excursions & events. A wide variety of events are organized by member families and posted on the members-only email list. We also gather together each month to swap advice and meet new friends.

For members of NCHL, families who homeschool in Nanaimo and area, AND families interested in homeschooling in the Nanaimo area - even if you are not currently homeschooling but just thinking about it, please feel free to come to the following activities:

Tea will be on, the gym will be open and the library will be available. A great time to connect with other home learning families. 2011-2012 Memberships will still be available for the discounted rate of $20 (goes up to $25 after September 30), so this is a great time to renew or get a new membership to ensure you are on the private email group which serves to connect our group and inform you of upcoming events. There are also several other home learning adventures that happen throughout the year and the details are posted on our members-only email list. NCHL membership is $25/year and includes access to the email list as well as our extensive library. Details on membership can be found on our membership page.
